Kesler Colton, originally from Park City, Utah, began his training at Park City Dance when he was seven years old. In his early teen years, he transitioned to Ballet West Academy in Salt Lake City where he was trained under the mentorship of Jeff Rogers. After three years in the Professional Training Division, he was promoted to trainee at 17 years old.
The following year in 2022, Colton joined Oklahoma City Ballet's second company, OKCB II, for two seasons and now will be joining the company as an apprentice for the 2024/25 Season. Some of Colton's favorite roles performed since joining Oklahoma City Ballet are Trepak in Ryan Jolicoeur-Nye's The Nutcracker, Jolicoeur-Nye's Carmina Burana, and Twyla Tharp's The Golden Section.
