Leonardo Celegato attended John Cranko Schule in Stuttgart and Ballettschule Theater Basel before joining the Vienna State Opera Ballet Academy and graduating with the highest marks in every discipline in 2018. Afterwards, he attended the Vaganova Ballet Academy in Saint Petersburg and graduated in 2020. He joined The Joffrey Ballet as a Studio Company member the following season.

In 2021, he joined the Estonian National Ballet and in 2022 he was promoted demi soloist. He received the Crystal Shoe Award 2023 for his charismatic and artistic roles, created with stage presence and technical precision. Celegato is joining Oklahoma City Ballet in 2024 as a member of the corps de ballet.
