Marco Corcella

Marco Alessandro Corcella, from Cerignola, Italy, trained at the Royal Academy of San Carlo and at the John Cranko School. Corcella joined Oklahoma City Ballet as a principal in 2023. His repertoire includes works by Valois, Graham, Johan Kobborg, George Balanchine, Sir Kenneth MacMillan, Sir Frederick Ashton, Jessica Lang, Jemma Bond, Sir David Bintley, Sir John Cranko, Davide Bombana, Sir John Neumeier, and Sir Eduard Clug. Some of his favorite roles include Carmina Burana, Tybalt in Romeo & Juliet, Birbanto in Le Corsaire, The Preacher in Appalachian Spring, and Tango Fatal in Tango.

Corcella has worked with Stuttgart Ballet, National Opera of Bucharest, and Sarasota Ballet.
